Heels over Head for Red

Have you ever been heels over head for red ?

I can't imagine Dorothy skipping down the
yellow brick road in these !

How sweet is this?
Having fallen in love with this, I am now on a
mission to create a potting bench of my own.

What a fun rainy day project this would be.
I do not think the birds would appreciate rock strawberries.
Perhaps some houses for a fairy garden.

Right now I am sipping a protein shake
made with fresh strawberries but oh,
some strawberry shortcake would be nice.

Yummy Tummy

We are still plugging along on our backyard project and I'm semi-sidelined with with a touch of something that I'm starting to think has gone from sinus congestion to vertigo. Since I don't have medical degree I'm off to see the doctor this afternoon

Have a blessed week!

 We all have that moment.
You know the one where you look at a project and say to yourself,
"Why didn't I think of that?"

Check out Brenda's great up-cycle of a
outdated planter/watering can.  Talk about a good eye. I would have passed this item up
but Brenda saw the potential.

Stanley Fine Bone China Teacup

Stanley, Fine Bone China, England

Mrs. Bantry was enjoying her dream a good deal.
She did usually enjoy those early-morning dreams
that were terminated by the arrival of
early morning tea. - The Body in the Library, Agatha Christie

Casual Coastal Dining - You Might Be a Local

Coastal living

Summer at the beach means casual coastal dining. . .
A hodgepodge of plates and bowls in beach -y tones are stacked at one end of the harvest table. Linen dishtowels pull duty as generous cloth napkins.

A jug of lemon water, or pitcher of lemonade is oh so refreshing.

So won't you join me ?

Bring your coffee and we'll hang at my favorite spot. You might be a local if you sit on the back of the bench. The ocean is like glass. No surfers today. Check out the horizon, a flat blue semi-circle where the earth drops away.
