Tea in the Library #65

He led the way onto a small glazed-in verandah where there were chairs and a table or two. The autumn sun fell pleasantly upon his retreat.

“What shall I get you?” said Spense. “No fancy stuff here, I’m afraid. No black currant or rose hip syrup or any of your patent things. Beer? Or shall I get Elspeth to make you a cup of tea?”

I planned to buy some frozen  pie crusts for the holidays so I have the pleasure of putting together some great desserts with a minimum of  mess and effort.

But, after reading Annie's post I am FINALLY going to tackle making pie crust in the food processor so I can have home made pie crusts.
And this lovely plum and nectarine tart deserves a home made crust don't you think? Aren't the colors perfect for an Autumn tea?

This Plum and Nectarine Tart may look fancy, but it's SO easy to make! Especially with my fool proof pie crust!
