Let it snow...
Let it snow...
Back before things got crazy busy Miss Izzy had a great idea. "Let's make a glitter house with some old world Parisian townhouse flair!"
She graciously donated a Fancy Feast box for the project.
And kept me company during the tedious parts.
And designing the dormers.
The dormers can be trimmed to fit a curved roof .
He Who Builds Things got involved ...
Here is a closer look at the dormer .

The windows are from the definitive Putz house / glitter house site Cardboard Christmas . Thank you Paul & Howard!
Side view. I used white cardstock to cover the house and silver pipe cleaners as trim.
The base is a Styrofoam square from the Dollar Tree. The icicles are from a template I found on the web at cotton pickin' fun. Glitter and some white bottle brush trees for glitz.
This one horse open sleigh felt like the perfect touch.

Susan, this is fantastic, amazing, wonderful! I couldn't figure out how I missed it, so I checked my blog parties and didn't see it. If you have time, I would love for you to link up this week. The roof pattern, your pictures, and the links you provide are excellent. I am going to have to make one--probably in February at the rate my season is going! :O I so appreciate your continued kindness in commenting on my work. You are so encouraging. I wish you and yours a holiday of peace and joy in the little blessings.
