Where Bloggers Create 2014

My name is Izzy.
The Food Lady is At The Beach and has left me in charge of the
Where Bloggers Create 2014 tour.
I like a nice clear space...but some times there is glue and wet paint.
There are lots of little things for me to sniff.
And some times
there is a lot of PINK
There is a cozy place to sit.
A place for this and that.
There is a lot of this and that.

Being a tour guide is exhausting! Time for a nap.

Thank you for visiting!

Tea Party Friends 4th of July Tea

Happy 4th of July!

Did you have Tea Party Friends ?

Victorian Children  fabric found at Joann's Fabric

Did you share  cups of milky tea during endless summer days?

 Woofer presides over the table.

When your world was bound by the porch swing and the garden gate...

"Shall I pour," asks Woofer.
Dragon fly fairy lights in a mason jar are from Dollar Tree (where else)
"Milk and honey please," squeaks Ikea Mouse.

Tin Snips cut a notch in the lid for the cord.
The battery pack is easier to reach outside the jar!

The blue transfer ware  cup, British Countryside still bears it's thrift shop tag $3.00.

"How lovely," Raggedy Anne exclaims. "Thank you so for having us to tea."

Victorian 4th of July post card images can be found at The Graphic Fairy,  Over the Rain beau, and Altered Artifacts.

Wishing you a safe and happy July4th weekend!

The Happy Couple
Me and the Princess Bride
I can't think of a blessing better than  seeing my child happy, healthy, and living the life she feels called to live. She and her wife are in an intense profession, and they see many difficult things. They have both struggled to overcome adversity and have worked hard all their young lives. I am proud of them for their moral integrity, and their commitment to making the world a better place. I am proud and thankful to  call these women my daughters. I am filled with joy to be able to celebrate a union blessed by God as they begin their lives together.
